Financial - Country Club Bank

Country Club Bank is a locally-owned community bank with deep roots in Kansas
City and the surrounding area. Founded in 1953 in the heart of the Country Club
Plaza, they have a rich history of serving the Kansas City area. Each year, they
have always sent a nice Holiday card to clients, providers, prospects and bank
friends. The bank has many locations, lots of customers, plenty of officers and
multiple relationships between some accounts and officers.

Challenge: They believe in
cultivating long-term relationships with their customers and part of the
personal touch is to send holiday cards signed by officers associated with the
account. This is a great idea, but every year the bank’s holiday cards required
massive physical coordination, excessive planning and months to circulate cards
for signing. The rotation of cards (in sequence) pained all involved. The final
result included carrier envelopes and cards that at times appeared “worn” from
the passing and handling from all the officers. The holiday card became a big
project and hassle for the marketing department.
Solution: Country
Club Bank worked with Lexinet to automate the process and produce the holiday
cards using digital print technology and with each officer’s signature on the
appropriate card. First, the bank digitized every officer’s signature -
encouraging multiple colors and types of pens and even little comments that
could also be digitized. Second, a listing of all clients was sent to the
officers and they indicated when they wanted their signature to appear for each
assigned client. Some cards have multiple names, others may only have one.
Utilizing the digitized signatures and the database with officers attached to
customers, Lexinet produced the same beautiful holiday cards the bank had done
in the past.
Results: The bank
enjoyed the smoothest and most hassle-free holiday mailing ever. Recipients
received a clean and timely card and all was produced for about the same cost as
prior years. Now that the signatures are digitized, only edits to officers and
assignments need be made for subsequent years. The bank can now consider other
times of the year a personal message and company contact would be appropriate –
because now this is easy.
